A year 7 development team from our district attended a tournament in Timaru last weekend (Jan 18, 19, 20) and had plenty of success. The boys won 3 from 4 matches with plenty of good individual performances. Many thanks to Sandy Wilson for organising and coaching the team and the South Canterbury Association for managing the tournament and providing outstanding facilities for the boys to develop their cricket. The tournament was a great success and we are hoping to include two squads in the tournament next season.
