Merry Xmas everyone
As we all know the recent Golf tournament was a stunning success and now we, at Melanoma NZ are again teaming up with Chris Flannery and Otago Cricket Fundraising Charitable Trust to bring the Central Otago region, a Hawaiian themed Social Bowls tournament. Hosted by the Clyde Bowling Club, this promises to be a day of sheer fun and enjoyment, regardless of whether you’ve played bowls before or not. Otago Cricket has been successfully running this hugely successful social tournament in Dunedin and now brings it to Clyde for the first time on Friday 11th March. Funds raised will go the Leading Edge Young Cricketer support Fund and will support kids in the Central Otago region, to 18 years, with funding that assist with player tournament or club fees and other associated costs. Melanoma New Zealand will receive 25% of all proceeds raised. You can either enter a team of 4 only, or for a little bit more support you can have become a rink sponsor and have your signage displayed all day at the event. Save this day in your diary. The theme is Hawaiian and the event will certainly have a festive party feel to it.
